What do you think is the best Quad for dunes. What about a warrior or a 250x .

Neither one is the best one for the dunes.

Don't start this again...

We'll get 2-3 pgs of replies with everyone praising their own machine.

IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU WANT TO RIDE.

Strict dunes-only riding a Banshee can not be matched. Great power, speed, maneuvering and hill-climbing. Banshees due tend to be one-dimensional tho' (great for dunes exclusively). If you don't want to be re-building top/bottom ends then stay away from 2 strokes. 4-strokes to consider: Raptor and the new Suzuki Z400. Also supposedly in July Polaris is coming out w/ their new sport quad, which could be interesting. I know now the C-dale and the Bomber guys will blow their own horns too--which is fine--they're just more expensive machines. Of course w/ dunes riding nothing is gonna be great w/o mods--2 or 4 stroke.

I would've recommended the Honda 400EX, but with what Suzuki has come out with Honda needs to step up now.

I doubt any of this helps, but it's a very subjective decision. Do your research, ride a loaner if you can and make the decision that makes YOU the happiest. After you've bought it don't regret it and have fun.

between the Warrior and 250x they are about the same. But they are both poor choices for the sand. You need power to ride in the sand. However since you live in Indiana, I wouldn't think that you'll be doing much duning anyway.
