...ive been there plenty of times before ...the grade isnt the problem...the width of thae lanes is the problem. its really tight w/ a 7 ft wide trailer...we finally got the motorhome back into shape (motor work finished) and i was wondering if they finished the constructions so the roads will be wider si it'll be much easier to get the motorhome and a trailer through....

so....does anyone know if the construction is finished.??

thanks

No it's not finished. As I noted I just went through there on Memorial Day weekend and it's still going on. I don't think it will be done for quite some time yet.

DiehardRider: Memorial Day like most holiday weekends is always kind of crazy because of the crowd size it draws. All in all I still wouldn't miss it though. There's lots of good entertainment watching people do the stupidist things out there. Most typical is the people who refuse to air-down their vehicle & trailers and so end-up burying them up to the axles. Then there's the creek, If it's pretty full @ high tide you will always get some bright soul that figures going through it fast is best. They figure if they go fast they'll be able to blast through quickly and get to the other side safely. They ususally end up stuck in the middle with a wet (drowned) ignition system. We refer to this form of entertainment as "idiot watch".

Me and the family will be be down there from 6/29 thru 7/5. I'm hoping to find a used 250r or a Banshee for sale down there and also try to sell our warrior.

I looked at the tide charts and the tides don't look bad to me. I haven't seen a high tide that worried me since the "El Nino" winter rains a couple years back.

Yeah a lot of people do get stuck. I have and do help get my fair share of them un-stuck from time to time. They all usually get out as there's no end of people with trucks cruzing that will yank them out.

250R: I emailed you with some questions on the 250R. I included both my home email address & my cell phone No. so you can get back to me with more info.

Thanks, Rude Dog
