I ended up getting a 99 banshee. It has a Trinity MX/TT motor in it. TCS 0-preload shocks on the front and rear. +2 +1 A-arms, Lonestar swingarm and axel. I hope it will do me good in the dunes. The only problem is right now I was letting a buddy ride it, and the bolts in the rear sprocket came loose somehow and away goes my chain and took some pieces of the case along with it. It didnt make me to happy, the only tiem I drove it was to test drive it. Oh well such is life, something to do this winter to keep me ocupied.

I've had experience on all machines and I now ride a Cannondale.....If your going big in the dunes, the others do not compare to the Cannondale...period.....I'm talking stock....my stock Cannondale came with Ohlins....I've launched DS's and Raptors....It's like jumping a golfcart...scary....You can't go wrong with the Banshee........Z400 and EX400 are gutless machines...

P8ntballer-

I didn't read your last thread, good choice though, the C-dales are a little pricey, you can use that money you saved to upgrade your suspension....

What do you mean upgrade the suspension? I am just curious. This bike was originally set up for MX and TT raceing, So I dont know how good the suspension will do in the dunes. So if there is any sugestions I am open to anything.
Thanks

Nice choice with the banshee, just make sure to keep up with the matinence. I think if i were you i owuld send your shocks to TCS and have them re-vavled to your weight and type of riding you are doing. But nice buy, i like the +2+1 a-arms and the shocks. Have Fun

Baller-

My fault, didn't see in your post that your suspension is upgraded.....might want to adjust a little softer for dunes...

One word. Predator. Think of a combination of the Raptor's power and the LT-Z's handling. I put 3 tanks of gas throgh one this weekend, it was impressive. If I was a little smaller and a little younger I'd buy it. Maybe I will anyway, and tell my wife it's for our son! She'll never know, she doesn't go to the Dunes anyway!
