If you guys want to see some real sand go to GLAMIS in southern California. A bunch of us leave from Crookston every march and make a week of it! Absolutly Amazing. Cant describe the size of hills and amount of sand there!! Cost = 5 guys split equally 10 days food and gas for the pull vehicle $180.00 Each person! Well worth the drive!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if I would say Glamis is the best especially for somebody coming from Minnesota. I would say save yourself a day of driving and go to St. Anthony, Idaho. It's closer and in my opinion the best dunes - certainly the biggest dunes overall.

We ride in northern MN all the time and I have the most fun in Glamis. THe sand offers the best place to get some wicked air and the landings are forgiving with the soft sand! Besides the cold here is nice to escape from and get some nice weather for March! Besides there isnt enough snow to ride sled and almost too much snow to ride wheelers so California is the best option!

You want opinions here's mine, I have been to
-Silver Lake Mi. LOTS of restrictions ,Small hills, Small riding area, But sand is sand
-St. Anthony ID. Very few restrictions , Large hills , Decent riding area's (but getting smaller)
-Whinchester Bay OR. Few restrictions (Lots on 3 day weekends), Giant hills, Great riding area's
- I could fill up the page with great places to ride in Oregon but then i would be bias.
That's just my opinion on places I have been .
Sometime within the next year I hope to get to Glamis CA, Little Sahara OK UT, and Sand Mountain NV.
