Do I need Paddels?

I plan on going to the dunes in april to OK. and goto silveer lake acouple times this year also I'm getting a new set of Holeshots XCT's and was thinking of buying a cheap set of paddels and .125's but now I wonder is the paddels neccessary I'm sur I will like the dunes from what ever one says so I will more than likely been going back year after year so with your experiance are paddels the only waY to go or not if so striaght or curved wont be racing much just going for the experiance who knos the the rapptor may turn into a animal if I get hoohed extended swingarm big bore turbo nos I can see my bank account depleading already any help wouyld be great Thanks Ry
P.S. I have a grizz with 27" 589 mt that tire is like a paddel how will my grizz perform...

to be perfectly honest.. paddles are NOT neccesary uinless you plan on doing some serous climbing... We ran sotckers and paddles at St. A's and over there you do some good climbing and managed to get but on most without them..If you dont plan on duning alot then I wouldnt waste your money..

I startd riding with angles on the raptor, then i got straight and they are so much more fun! They pull faster too

get the paddles for the raptor, it adds to the sand experience, plus it does help on hill climbs and races. don't worry about the grissly it isn't the dune machine the raptor is, and will be a lot of fun just to get around.

I would suggest getting Skat Track Hualers. An 8 paddle will be fine. If you get really really cheap brands they are so heavy and worthless that your holeshots would almost do better int he sand at a low psi. Skat track is definatly the best bang for the buck. Cheap and one of the best.

get paddels for the raptor, there's a lot of competition at lil' sahara. keep your mud tires on your griz. in case you didn't know it, there's a swamp inside sahara, take both atv's, you'll have a blast!
