yes! I did the yellow SE 1000R 1of1 lots of learning on that one. Kind of like a first love takes some time and finesse to get what you want! Turned out to be a nice conversion. On my 5th and still having fun.
I've been watching the other one like us all. But instead of using some basic clues given to us by yamaha
he took his own path and WOW cliffs and steep hills to come with money tight and limited supplies best to use a map!

man, you are an artist, id love to see one in person, im interesting in starting to build what amounts to basically a honda pilot with a shifter, and have done some fabrication work as well, so i have an idea of what goes into this....very impressive....

I used an FZ1 engine, instead of an R1. They are almost the same, except the FZ1 has 7 hp less, but more torque.

the r1 already puts out what 170 some HP? thats already more then your average sedan. i know with turbos on a GSX1300r hayabusa motor you can push darn near 600 HP witch is more then your average tractor trailer [-the torque] that pulls up to 175.000 tons. what kinda power you getting out of this? probably in the 300-350 HP range would be my guess

Would also depend on which year R1 the motor came out of.
