ok ya im lookin for a quad that will last me without me being tired of lack of power and the raptor 700 might be to much and i want a quad with reverse unless some1 convinces me i dont

 

with the yfz wieght of about 350lb its not hard to pull around

no, i mean i have it on my raptor but its not even that big of a deal. its nice but not neccery.

if u can get a new yfz450r i would get it. yami is known to have the best efi in the raptor and i dont think the yfz will be any different. i have seen a dyno sheet on a stock one and it looked very good. the tq was much better on this yfz over the carb version. and it comes with 50inch wide suspension. that would cost you like 2k to get on other quads no problem

 

oh people say that its not ment for the woods at all tho

 

i think the added tq will help it in the woods. and i know ppl who ride 50 inch wide quads in the woods. and if u get different rims u can get it down a couple more inchs

 

so u think it will do just as good and has plenty of power to get out of tough spots?

 

IMO you will appriciate reverse the first time yo have to push your atv out of mud or when you are in a tight spot. All 450 are desingnd as race bike and require allot more maintanence than tradional bike such as 700R or Z400 and if you are looking for a bike to last iI would pass on any 450. Dont get me wrong 450 are great bikes in there own right but do requre more oil changes and valve adjustments than a standerd 4 stroke. To me all the 450 is, is a newly designed 2stroke in 4stoke clothing if you know what I mean!
