going out for crab and salmon this weekend myself

 

I take my share out of lake michigan too, but since i dont have a boat i have to wait for them to come in close enough to get them off the piers. when they hit the rivers its all just for fun... catch n release at that point for me, my freezer is already full

thats how im gonna be, last year i sold my big boat (needed money) then realized i dont have enough time to do everything so i just sold 1000.00 dollars in fishing equipment...so i will be back to a pier fisherman. plus I love the salmon run (but i release most if there all dark).

if you ever get the chance try fishing pulaski ny they call it the salmon capital of the world great place to fish for salmon and steel head

 

 

I'm about 35 miles south of Erie. I love steelheading but those salmon look like a ball.
