Default looking to buy

I know another one of those threads. But Im looking to buy a 4 wheeler, We have two 4x4 polaris utlity 4 wheelers but Ive always wanted to buy something like a polaris predator 500 or a banshee. We ride mostly trails here in minnesota. Would you suggest one type over the other for trail riding? Thanks, Troy

That completely depends on what your riding conditions are. If you are in alot of deep ruts you are going to be wrestling with a 2 wheel drive sport model quite a bit to navigate these types of trails. If you are in alot of deep mud, same situation. If you are riding on smooth trails or in the dunes you would probably prefer a sport model over a utility quad. With either type of quad, you will have situations where one will be better than the other. It is very much like choosing whether to have a car or a truck. Obviously you can do pretty much anything a car can do with a truck, but there are disadvantages as well. While a truck will pretty much always be able to get you from A to B, a car will more likely do it cheaper as far as gas mileage. Just the same, a truck will not be as sporty as a car as far as handling, speed, etc. Just depends on what you want/need to do with it.

Get a KTM 525xc...jk! Get a Honda 700xx, it has all the clearance for trails with the sporty performance. The Banshee would just plain suck in the trails, and the 500 has bad reliability, trust me, I'm goods friends with my mechanic and he says that Polaris's and KTMs are the worst things out there.
