where could one find the value of used atvs,thinking of trading my 04 arctic cat 400 with 890 miles for a 03 suzuki vinson with 680 miles,at local dealership,the vinson has no extras but my ac has factory winch,handguards,new itp tires and in a1 condition,guess what im asking is should i be ready to spring out of my boots at a redicilous difference quote.

 

kelly blue book. It's under Motorcycle. Your accessories won't add to much value. The Winch dealers like to see, makes it easier to sell. Tires just give me a reason to jack the price a bit more to buyers but probably not give you much for what they are worth. But KBB will give you an idea what you are looking at.

 

If you're trading it in, be prepared. They're not gonna offer you what you think (or what it is) worth. If you have the time to sell it yourself, you'll get more for it.

 

I dont,know why people trade in,laziness I quess. What ever a dealer gives you for a trade in you will find your old car, truck ,ATV you name it, for sale on there lot for more then what they gave you,its business so do your own business I say.

Dealers thinking, "Hmmm I can sell your machine for $4500 will you take $3000 for it?" It just nuts.

Those ATVs are closely matched, find out what he wants for the Vinson the sell your 400 yourself for that price. Other then that prepare to give him your ATV and cash.
