Ok I am looking at 2 models right now.
First is the 2007 Artic Cat 700 fuel injection 4x4. Has 750 miles, custom wheels and tires, I believe its the LE model because it has the big tube bumper on the front that covers the head lights and goes all the way up to the rack. Haven't got to ride it yet because they are putting new brakes on the front so I don't know how a artic cat handles yet. But I do like the ground clearance it has. Price for it is $4200
Second is a 2005 polaris 800 fuel injection 4x4. Has 1500 miles with 160 hours. Needs new tires all around because these are worn. I rode it and it gets up and goes, but if you romp on the throttle it has a "Chatter" sound coming from the belt area like the belt is slapping the plastic cover. Its the limited edition version with dual stainless exhaust and the polished factory wheels. It rode real smooth and soft on the butt. Price for it is $4500.
what are some of the good features of one or the other? I can't make up my mind which one is the best for the money. Right now, the polaris may need some money put into it for tires and possible a new belt and the artic cat I don't see anything.\
We just do alot of trail riding and playing in the creeks and some mud. No mud bogs or anything like that, just regular playing. And then we use it around the house for pulling a little trailer once in a while.

The PoPo is a little bit faster. The thing I like about that year or style is the front rack has a lot of storage under it. I keep a ton of stuff that's good to have on long trips in my 500's storage bin. Great ride on the PoPo. I have a messed up disk in my lower back and the Polaris ride is best in comfort. Beyond this it's personal preference.

I would go with the AC ,cheaper, newer and less hours. Plus AC have nice large gas tanks no need to carry extra gas on long rides. The advantage of the Polaris is it has a smother twin cylinder vs the AC big single thumper. The AC has the major options such as Diff lock true AWD and IRS,low range,EFI like the Polaris.

The only negative thing I've heard about the KQ is that the steering is kind of twitchy. A lot of people have mentioned getting a steering stabilizer to tighten it up some. Everything else I've read or heard from riders is positive. Generally speaking a new KQ is the best bang for the buck. On the one you're looking at, those are high hours for that kind of mileage. It could mean it was driven over a lot of technical stuff or that the driver just liked going slowly. My rule of thumb is 10 hours per 100 miles as an average usage between technical and more open trails. I would just take a good look underneath the quad and see if there is any apparent damage. I know my quad is pretty scratched up underneath from lots of technical riding.

I'd say the AC because its newer and cheaper.
Also the AC has a 2" reciever for you trailer ball mount.
Polaris will have more power, 3rd headlight if you will ride much after dark, front storage compartment and AWD, Does it have ADC? don't get it if you ride a lot of steep hills.

Active decent control = ADC
Locks the front wheels when in AWD/ADC.
Polaris is automatic 4wd and with ADC is automatic 4wd engine braking.
If not only the rear tires will hold back.
Only important to have if you ride down a lot of steep trails.
Just like the AC or Suzuki to have 4wd engine braking you need to put in 4wd and lock the front diff.
