Default Sport-Utility?

I'm 14 years old and I'm starting to look into buying an (new or used) atv. I'm working up to save money for this atv but I do not want to waste it on some crappy atv. I was looking at both sport and utility models and was wondering if there was sort of a mix between them? Like a sport model that would be able to use a plow in the winter? Thanks for any suggestions.

I saw this Chinese one (http://www.vbike.us/index.php?page=s...s=&pz=&scid=82) and was wondering if there are any other manufacturers that make them.

I would avoid the Chinese quads like the plague unless you are really good with a wrench. There are 3 "sporty/utility quads"; the Yamaha Wolverine, Polaris Scrambler, and CanAm Renegade. All have four wheel drive for those spots you might need it. Yamaha and Polaris have Hi, R, and N with an automatic transmission. Renegade has Hi, Lo, N, R, and park. Yamaha Wolverine 450 is slowest and has a solid rear axle, Polaris Scrambler 500 is second with a solid rear axle, and Renegade 500 is fastest of these with independent rear suspension. Renegade is also most expensive of the 3.

I'd also recommend looking at a used 350 Wolverine. Put a Warn 4-2-4 on it and some money into motor work and you'd have a quick, fun quad. The Honda Rancher 420 is also a quick little machine.
