Youth atvs and not china built
#1
I have a son who is riding a Polaris Preadator 90 and it no longer has enough power for his skill level. He had a China bike he could shift and likes that better than automatics but he is just not ready to move up to a 250cc bike. Does anyone have a recommendation of a bike he could shift between a 90cc and 250cc that would be a quality atv?>

Your out of luck unless you go CVT . Honda ,Suzuki don,t even make a youths ATV and the rest are all CVT even E-Tons.
You could look for a uses ATV. The yamaha Raptor 80 was a 3 speed. , Kawaski 220 Bayou. the earlier Can Am DS90 was a 4 speed and Honda 90 Sportrax was a 4 speed.

Now, I realize you said no CHINA products. That being said the only real option that fits your criteria would be these and I assure you they rip!!

Pretty sure the little Raptor has a manual clutch. That chassis handles like a dream, and plenty of hop ups when needed.

My son is 7 years old but he has been on gas powered quads since he was 3. My biggest problem is he has more skill than the the quads his size and a manual clutch is a bit much for him right now

Sorry did not mean to say "Manual clutch" but "manual tranny" instead. No Youth ATV would have a hand clutch, but some of the discontiued ones had manual foot shifting. All the new ones (Name Brand) seem to be automatic CVTs nowadays.
