Default Slime, is that stuff any good?

I just put some in my rear tires, is there any side effects to that stuff?

Downside that I'm aware of is the , smell, mess when changing tires out. Very seldom you valve stem might start to leak because of product causing spring to stick. Just rinse valve stem with water to correct it.

if you don't want to **** off your tire guy, cut your tires off the rims and wash them first ... it makes a big mess, especially if you don't know its there when you take the tires off.

I use it in all my off road stuff, nails/stumps/thorns do not make a difference any more.

Used it in my trail boss. Lots a thorny trails that after a ride, you'd see tiny green dots. That was a good thing, it was sealing the holes. Besides the tire change issues, the only other one I experienced was on my sport model. This will throw the balance off on the tires. Not so much you'd noticed going through mud or a bumpy trail, but if you take it out on any smooth surface and open the throttle, you will get a very uncomfortable shake from the wheels.

any mechanic i've came across really didn't care too much if it were in it or not, kinda comes with the work they do these days. I love it,ive had 12 haw thorns(them large thorns on trees) in my rear tire and never leaked after i added the slime. All tires had the thorns and never leaked. I would not put more than needed in them though. I added too much and now when its freezing outside it tends to freeze and my tires bounce with the weight from the slime frozen inside. When its warm it dont matter.
