I have a conundrum and I'd like some opinions on which one you'd choose and why.
Both are priced exactly the same. Both are used and have been used on a ranch.
option 1:
2007 CanAm Outlander 500 4x4 (hi,lo), 4x2. 4490 miles. purchasing from a dealer.
Option 2:
2007 Suzuki King Quad 700 4x4 (hi,lo), 4x2, locking diff. 1600.00 miles. Purchasing private party.
The Suzuki has a odometer read error. not sure what's wrong there and the owner said the engine was recently completely overhauled/rebuilt
I'm leaning towards the KQ for mileage and power. Any other thoughts I should consider before jumping on the KQ?

I'd wonder why that motor was rebuilt.

 

let's assume that the engine blew. (or got trashed via neglect or abuse). Are you concerned with a funamental defect? Would that steer you away at all? If the rebuild was good and the engine is solid. Should I still be concerned?

 

If it was neglect, I'd run away.

Without seeing either one, I'd automatically take out the one that has had major engine work, just on the information given.
