Default legal/license

Hi, I was wondering what the legal age and license requirements are to ride an AV in Ontario?

I found the Off Road Vehicles Act and it states in there that an owner shall not permit a person under the age of twelve to ride an ATV, except on the owner's property. Does not list anything I could see about having a driver's license or an ATV license similar to a Motorized Snow Vehicle Operators License. Could my 16 year old daughter with her G1 Driver's License operate an ATV?

What about two-up seats? I see nothing in the law or regulations prohibiting it, yet I HEAR of people being charged for it.

Does anyone have answers and not just opinions?

Thanks for the help

I myself just got my ATV plated, I am 22, With a G1, I do have a careless about two years ago so that might affect it some, I know for a fact you need insurance to ride it on the roads/trails, I was told most insurance companies will not insure or cover a G1 driver on public roads, off road was fine. if the plate is in your name then it might be a different story, I am sure someone with more knowledge will be along
