Default Dual Sport helmets for offroad use? Yes or no?

Hey guys...I'm shopping for a new helmet, and wanted some opinions on the dual sport helmets. We ride utility machines, mainly on slower trails and wondered if anyone has any experience with these brain buckets. Thanks.

Whats a dual sport Helmet? Like a football helmet? Had to ask. I cant help since were not big on the helmets where we ride. We have helmet laws but there nobody around for 100 miles to enforce it.

A little confused by that too. Do you mean street helmet vs dirt?

A replacement visor on my street helmet is 40 bucks. Would think on a brushy trail that would be getting scratched up pretty good. Goggle lenses would be a lot cheaper to replace.

Dual Sport helmets are basically a cross between an off road motocross style helmet and a street helmet. They have a flip down visor attached, and some even have a second flip down sun shield. They're mainly designed for motorcycle use. I just wondered if anyone had tried one for ATV use. The visor would be nice in cold weather, but I guess they have a tendency to fog up.

Visors are removable on most of them I believe.
