Default 11occ quad rebuilt engine new carb will only start if you jump cylinoid

as the title states I rebuilt the top end, adjusted the valves (.0004) new coil, CDI, new ignition...after the rebuild it fired up perfect rode it for a bit (two hours) beside it breaking up on top end it ran great. I used the key and the push button start. while running I bumped the harness and it died...it would start right back up!!....now it wont start using the push button only if you jump that solenoid ?? it has a siren looking thing ...(I heard something about a remote?)

go back to what changed your situation. "you bumped the wiring harness". therein lies the problem. check the wiring for loose quick connects. use the pull/tug method. then take the quick connects apart and check to see if a spade backed out of the quick connect. trace the wires out of the starter button to the suspect spot. use a voltmeter/ohm meter to test for voltage in and around the starter button up from the key/battery. you'll find the issue soon enough.

if it'll help you trace out the wires, start back from the solenoid and work backwards. you'll find the issue soon.

I found the problem it was my brand new ignition switch the red wire broke off lol...I read some where else that some one jumped the wires in the plug intended for the ignition..so I tried it and waaahlaa it worked so then I took the switch apart!....also hooked up a LED headlight, and a tail light
