I've sure gotten old!
I've had two bypass surgeries, a hip replacement, new knees, fought prostate cancer and diabetes.
I'm half blind, can't hear anything quieter than a jet engine, take 40 different medications that make me dizzy, winded, and subject t o blackouts. Have bouts with dementia.
Have poor circulation; hardly feel my hands and feet anymore. Can't remember if I'm 85 or 92.
Have lost all my friends.
But, thank God, I still have my driver's license.

 

Good one OPT. My mom finally lost her license a couple of years ago. She has cataracts in both eyes, has a hard time hearing even with 2 hearing aids, and has dementia. She tried walking to the bank and got lost and the police brought her home. Another time she tried walking to the store and got lost. She wandered around for hours before making it home and never did make it to the store. She tried walking to the store again and a neighbor caught her and made her go home. If she could still drive there's no telling how far she would get before she got lost again.

 

60 and still puttin around. dad is 90 and still gets his mail and paper on his canam 450ho. hope i will be ridin as lons as him!

 

My envy....hope I am still able to ride at that age, hell I hope I am even around at that age!! Well on second thought...the way this country is headed, not sure I want to be around that long to see the disaster we are headed for.

If he's still with the same women that long he well deserves a little break now & then.
Hell I'm about at 1/3 of that & need more than a few breaks.
But I suspect my break is also her's so I get away with it.

 

Yep, same way I look at it, after 46 years with the same woman we both need a break from each other....even though I need the break more than her cause I am such a nice guy!

 

My Mom turns 81 tomorrow. She's been sled riding more times this year than I've been in the past 30.

You know you're getting old when your Mom is having more fun than you are.
