I'm brand new to this. I've got a 2005 eton viper 90r with reverse. I had to put a new battery on it but also had to connect wire to the positive and negative battery wires. It would run when I jumped it before but now it won't even turn over. The red light on the front and horn works. Also it beeps when I go to put it in reverse. The brake lights don't work. Not exactly sure what's going on with it.

Yes. I figured it out. Come to find out the 12 volt battery i just bought only had like 7.4 volts.
