Hi guys, first time posting, but I've come acrossed an issue with my sons little 90 I can't figure out. So here it is, quad was running fine kids were riding around trails and through a creek, then the predator goes down, long story short ended up changing out the stator, now won't start, if you shoot starting fluid in it starts up then dies after starting fluid burns out, it did start after we covered up the intake side of the carb for a bit then died again, I've gone through every part of the carb even bought a new one, drained tank, did it all again, still no results, any ideas???

 

I'd check compression next if you have good spark and fuel to the carb.That could be the problem or a crank seal leaking. These are what a lot of people over look.

 

Got good compression, brand new top end. Doesn't seem to want to pull the fuel from the carb. But there is good vacuum through the carb.

 

If I stick the fuel line straight into the carb it will run
