Tire fitment
#1
I just put 28” mudzillas on my stock 04 Suzuki Eiger 400. They don’t rub right now but I’ve got a 2” lift coming for it and as I got to looking at the front end I noticed the footboard bar that runs from the frame to the front of the floorboard is slightly below center of the tire, but once it’s lifted the bar will be nearly dead center of the tire and I’m sure it will rub then. I’ve thought about either notching (which would weaken the bar) or cutting the footboards back and welding the bar to the frame. Just wanted to know some more ideas or if anyone else has ran into this problem.

Well it did rub slightly when I had it in the air to put the tires on. But it also had about 20psi in it to set the bead (I run about 5psi in it now). The lift comes in today so I guess ill find out. If anything I'll just head the bar up and hammer it back a little.
