Default Suzuki Quad Identification

I acquired an older Suzuki quad but don't know much about it. It was sitting in an open field for years so all the plastic and identifying decals are disintegrated. From the little research I have done so far I am pretty sure it is a King Quad and it looks to be a late 80's or early 90's model. I could not find an engine cc stamp and the VIN tag is not legible. Any information on how to determine the year and size and model would be greatly appreciated. I had taken the back rack and fenders off of it before I took pictures, it appears to be complete. Thanks

Looks like a KingQuad 300 from the mid 90s. Look for the displacement size on the cylinder: 280cc.

Where will it be on the cylinder? Did they stamp VIN's on these somewhere or was it only on the decal on the frame in the back?

The VIN is stamped on the frame somewhere, but I cannot recall where. The cylinder displacement is near the base of the jug somewhere....you have to clean it up and explore.

its a 300 or 400 they are a bullet proof machine. when we bought ours used the original owner was pushing 400lbs easy the machine axles were held together with duct tape, wrong oil in engine so clutches were slipping, no maintenance at all.. Cleaned it all up and that machine was unstoppable and could go any ware the big boys could.. When you get it running do the diff lock mod so you can use the dif lock in any gear instead of low low only...
