Range question
#1
I have a couple new to me Polaris quads.
2004 330 Magnum and a 2004 Sportsman 700.
Never having quads before i have no idea what kind of range i can think about. Wont be doing anything to crazy or anything like that. Will be mostly be trail ridding with the wife. Age has calmed me down a lot!
Anyone able to give me a good guess?
Thanks

Well my old cat 500 would do about 250-300km per tank my new can am gets about 150km per tank. This is all dependent on terrain last weekend i did a ride and did about 60km and used about 1/4-1/2 tank did about 20-30km of steep logging road and killed the rest of the tank of fuel

Thanks.
I think we should be fine then. 150km is about 90 miles. That is WAY more then ill be riding in a day more like 40/50 miles on a long round trip.
I do plan on carrying 1, 2-1/2 gallon can of gas on each quad though. Never know when a float might get stuck or something unexpected might happen.
