Default Suspension Repair Question

Hi everyone,

I’m tackling a suspension issue on my 2015 Audi S4 (DSG, 146k miles) and could use some advice. I’ve noticed clunking noises when going over bumps and uneven tire wear. I suspect worn control arm bushings or ball joints but want to confirm before replacing parts unnecessarily.

Any tips for diagnosing suspension issues on this platform? Also, are there specific aftermarket upgrades worth considering for longevity or performance? I’ve got decent mechanical experience but am still learning about the S4’s quirks.

Any input would be greatly appreciated
