Default Trading for Ranger

I have decided to trade my sportsman for a ranger. Has anyone used or ridden a ranger before? I do mostly work with the polaris and I think the ranger will be awesome. I dont need the 4 wheeler for riding becase I have other sport ATVs

I have had a Ranger 4x4 for about a year. I dont use it much for work. I enjoy taking it off road and rock crawling. My favorite thing to do is take it to the desert. I carry all the tools, cooler and gear for my friends that ride quads and dirtbikes. It can go 42 mph, so I normally pull up the rear, but they dont mind waiting for me cuz i got the food and drinks for long trail rides.

I suggest getting the 4x4 over the 6x6 because it is 400lbs lighter and goes much faster than 6x6. It also tows and hauls the same amout as the 6x6 and it has a much smaller turning radius.

The only thing that i have hauled with the ranger is my friends blaster when it ran out of 2 stroke oil, and my cousins TTR 90 that he likes to play around on. The only problems that i have had with it are a bent swing arm (my girlfriend got about 6 feet of air on a jump), and the back of the seat always falls off (i bungied it to the roll bar so it is fine now)

if you have any other questions let me know.

My riding partner has had a Ranger for two years now and is very happy with it. He does not have an odometer but I would estimate that he has over 4000 miles on it without any troubles. It's a very nice machine, I am sure you will be very happy with it. If you have specific questions I will be happy to give an answer .............. MJSTX
