Default Ranger capabilties.

I am thinking about purchasing a polaris ranger 4x4. (possibly 6x6) Can i ride these machines anywhere i can ride my conventional atv? Whats the malor downfal of both machines? I wouldnt be doing a whole lot of utility work, But i d ride in the feild, whats the top speed? The deepest water crossings willbe about 1-2 feet, Is that too deep for it? Please reply with any inforemation you have on them, I am extremely interested in purchasing one.

Just bought a new ranger 2 months ago. Love the machine. It is wider than my SP700 and has a longer wheel base. It climbs like you wont believe. I have a fully enclosed glass cab with hard doors. It is a little on the noisy side inside. overall i am completely satisfied with the machine. It rides great, and the wife and kids have no problem driving it. By the way it is a 4x4. Dont know what top speed is bacause they dont have a speedo. One more thing, it seems a little top heavy, but i havent rolled ti yet. good luck

my friend alex has a ranger and it does 45 on the road and he is a farmer that thing can pull like you wouldnt believe. 2 feet of water is not too high for it. if you can afford go with the 6x6 i think you would like that better JMO
