Default Mule Upgrades in September?

I can't remember where I saw this on the forums, but somewhere they said that the Mule would be totally redone for the new models in September so that it would make the Rhino obsolete. Can anyone shed any light on this? I know I posted this before but that was about one or two months ago and nobody said anything so I'm checking again.

I know a couple of new models coming out soon, but I know nothing about changes in the existing models. The gas 300, 620 and diesel 950 will be same as before with few minor C&G dchanges.

Well then maybe there will be a whole new line, but there's supposedly something to smoke the Rhino coming up in the utility market from Kawi. Any more info?

It almost had to be that Kawasaki would be forced to redesign the Mule. It seemed to me that after the Rhino hit the market there was little reason to buy a Mule. Yes, its true that the Mule, as a work machine remained superior to the Rhino....yet the Mule scores a near zero in the play/fun department. The Rhino, on the other hand, delivered the best of both worlds. In fact, I was a slim hair away from selling my Prairie and getting a Rhino. What stopped me? The engine! I have absolutely no interest in going back to a single cylinder engine. That V-Twin in the Prairie owns my ATV dollar. I am VERY interested in what Kawasaki has in the works. If they come out with a Rhino-like machine with the Brute Force engine.....my Prairie will be history! Hmmmm...doing a wheelie in a side by side.

Moo,

I know Artic Cat is coming out with one this year. They are using thier new 650 engine. I hope Kawasaki does too. I think the rumor was that it was a Mule like wheeler that would compete with the Rhino. I take that to mean it will be a different line.

When is the Kawasaki dealer show. I heard it would be in July. Did they already have it?

The "new" AC 650 is just the kawasaki prarie engine. If ac is getting into the mix, a redisign for the mule or a new line shouldnt be far behind.

No it's not the v-twin. They designed their own engine for 2005. It is a single cylinder 650. It is a hemi. They call it the H1. You can get the AC650 with either the Kawi V-Twin or the H1.

DISPLACEMENT (CC) 641
ENGINE TYPE SOHC 4-stroke 4-valve

Artic Cat already anounced at thier dealer show that they are releasing one. There were pictures of it floating around the net. Go to the AC forum for more info on the engine. Hope Kawi is next.
