Drowning mule
#1
I just purchase a new Kawasaki mule 3010 gas 4x4. I finally got to test it out last weekend and for the most part it did great. The only concern I have is that when I drove it through water, just deep enough to enter the floorboard, it started to drown out. Is this because the coil pack is located to close to the ground, or what? I tried this like three times and almost did not make it the final try.
I am already considering taller tires hoping this will help. But what if this does not help? Can someone tell me why it drowns out so easily?

Drowning Mule, a friend of mine had the same problem. He found out that they tell you that the air intake is at the top of your rollbar. Which it is but what they don't tell you is that where the rollbar stops at the floor board is not sealed. He took some of that spray type foam and shot it into the bottom of the rollbar but before he did this he drilled two small holes across from each other about an inch from the bottom and put two 1/2" screws in to hold the foam in place just for insurance. He said this solved the problem of drowning out.
