Default Looking into buying High end Suspension cart......NEED YOUR HELP!!

Hey everyone, im new here.

My dad, Little brother, and i are looking into getting a high end suspension go-cart. We went yesterday and looked at the 2005 Twister Hammerhead II 150cc. And i must say WOW, we were amazed and blown away on how nice it was. We were quoted ($ 3,145.00) out the door.

Later this week or next week, we are gong to make a trip to see the Carter Bro's Cart.....Its pretty much a copy of the twister, so we expect similiar pricing.

Now, we have quite a bit of room to ride a cart, BUT we arent really looking for top-speed. Mainly acceleration.......We do have a oval track set-up on our property and could race a few carts at once (just to give you an idea on how large it is)

So, is there anything elese YOU reccomend as far as a high end go cart? We want a fast one, and im not sure if the carter or twister is going to deleiver in the acceleration department. What other carts should we consider?

- Or is there aftermarket performance parts to beef these bad-boys up?

Any input is appreciated, thank you.

The Twister is great! We have had ours for about a year. It is mostly used around the neighborhood, We use the dirt-bikes and the Rhino to play in the rough stuff.

SP33D:
You didn't mention your budget. You can easily spend big dollars on a high end cart, depending on your definition of a cart.
Check out buggynews.com. They have info on carts up to 800cc.

Hey, thanks for the link, we plan to be spending $ 4,000 or less.

The ebay cart is looking real nice at this point in time!

Remember that there are a lot of issues with service and support for these types of carts. With that said, buying off eBay to save a couple hundred bucks may not be the best move.
