When I turn on my key, it makes a sound like a fan running. Does anyone know what this is? Its not the Fan on the radiator but it sounds like a smaller fan noise or something simuliar to it.

Hmmm.. am I the only one that notices this on my Rhino?

 

My 2006 Rhino doesn't do that. Sorry, maybe someone else can help you.

I found out what it is. Its the digital dash, I unplugged the one of the three plugs that go into it. The white plug I guess powers it all up and when I unplugged it the noise went away. I would say none of you dont have the digital dash then right?

I am going to go and see if the one on the show room floor does the same thing.

 

No, I have an 06 LE with the Digi dash, but never heard it. I'll have to listen again.

I haven't heard that sound with my '06 hunter green Rhino that has a dealer installed digital dash. Maybe your ears are better than mine [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img].
