Default fishing poles

Anybody transport fishing poles in their utv/atv? Is there a better way than handing them to your passenger and saying, "Here. Hold these."?????

Does anybody make a rack?

You could get the ones that pull apart in the middle and then mount them to the bike.

I still like the hold this for me. LOL

i strap mine down on the back rack pointing forward with my tackle box then stick the tip of the rod under my front rack. I position it close enough to me on my brute so i can wrap my leg over top of it just to make sure it doesnt bounce free.

You could make a pole holder or holders out of PVC or ABS pipe and clamp them to your machine so the tips of the poles are pointing slightly up and back, wrap a bungee around them and go! Just an idea!

Hard to tell by the pic. How long is it? You put the rod inside?

I thought about building a rack to mount to the front of the bed and the poles stick straight up..but the first time I go under a tree..... :\

Its made from PVC plumbing pipe with a sealed glued cap on one end and a threaded screw end on the other so the length and dia is up to you and your rod. We just bungie the tube on the rack. I had other ATV run over it once and the rod was still OK. LOL

One stroll down a building supply store's plumbing section and you will figger in out easy. Don't forget to buy the PVC glue for the ends.
