My buddy has one and as far as I can tell it is the same engine as the Sp500, so I presume that any parts made for the Sp500 would fit the Ranger. Does anyone out there know of a good site for information on Rangers 4x4 and 6x6? .......MJSTX

I was told by dealer that it is NOT the same motor. SP is the HO engine and the Ranger is the standard 500 (like in the magnum)

Actually, the motors are the same, but the H.O. has more power do to higher compression. The new ranger got more power this year as well, and a new design. The pipe will not work because of the way it mounts, they mount diffrently. Motor mods would be similar, I would ask before doing them though to make sure.
