2510 mule
#2
HI, we have a 99 2510 4x4 with 396 hrs. This unit is used every day here at our boat dealership to move boats. Mods are 27'' black water xt, front H.D. springs, cv guards, 100w lights, roof mounted gun boxes, skid plates ( the rear tranx. we covered with a custom made plate ) all the way around, essex front bumper & 2500lb. winch with custom made Hyd.18'' Hoist with hitch ball to move boats around the lot.We also disengaged the gov.
The top speed with the 27'' tires is 36 max. unloaded.
By the way my wife and I just returned from a 5 day trip on the piute trail in UT. WE went from Richfield up to Mt. Dekalb south the switchbacks down to Circleville, across the valley floor up to box creek res. and back to Richfield.
The Mule was outstanding and packed over 500lb of gear & food. Our top speed loaded was 19 mph.

Have you done any engine or torque converter mods . I feel the need for speed . I got 27" blackwaters , with 2" lift kit , full Essex cab , FM / CD stereo , winch , plow and lots of lights . Can't forget the 55 amp Bosh alt to run everyting . But it just isn't fast enough . I disconeccted the gov , but found myself pushing that little motor too fast in low range . Don't want to float a valve and blow it up out in the woods .
