I am being sent double e-mail notification for post. Why?

 

Please read the notification and check on something. Iit should say, xxxx has posted a reply to the thread entitled....

The two notifications should list different user names where it says "xxxx" in the example above. Are they different user names or the same? .

 

Nope; the last time I checked it there was a single post to the thread and I was notified twice with the same name.

 

Did you see double when dbeck posted?

The forum doesn't send out 2 emails so we need to find out what is weird about your computer. Do you have a rule in outlook setup which may be moving the email twice to an in-box folder?

 

Why would my computer only do this to this forum? And not all the time.

Well, maybe not cured but morphed is closer to it. I am getting notifications for threads I have unsubscribed from. The list shows I am not subcribed but i got notified about this thread anyway.

I am still not sure the double notification thing is gone all the time. It was never there all the time anyway.
