OKay i am using Internet explorer.. but how do i re-format? is it the Microsoft Works Suit disk that i need in order to do it?

befor you re-format and have to re-install everything all over again,

if you can try going to http://computercops.biz,

go to the forums section, and determin what kind of problem you have, (virus, hi-jacker)

you'll probably have to creat an account, but they helped my wife clean her pc twice after the kids had it loaded up with browser hijackers...

they'll have you post some info from your system, and tell you how exactly to get rid of it...

 

Try dis-abling your system restore, run your anti virus program, then enable your system restore. Run your anti-virus program again, and you might be clean,,,,,worked for me.

 

I stopped all the popups.. I went to computercops.biz and they sorted out most if not all the popups.. I am very happy about that!!!!!

How do i make windows run faster? like when i click on microsoft word it will take 20-30 seconds before it actually starts up..

Those are nothing more than unprotected pipes for viruses, trojans and spyware.

 

I may be a bit late but...... I do network administration for a living, we have had alot of this go on in the past few months. If you are still having spyware type problems there is help out there. Go to www.download.com. do a search for microsoft anti spyware. its realitively new and in beta version (test version). We have made it a staple in resolving these issues. download and install, then run, it removes 99% of the junk. good luck.

 

Get rid of Kazaa and Limewire!

1) Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs> (click to remove whatever file)

2) Run> (type it) regedit> Ctrl-F > (search for whatever) > Delete Registry Keys that are related to the programs> Click F3 to perform the same search again... Be careful with Regedit, if you delete the wrong thing you're screwed!

3) Run Spybot S&D/Adware, then scan your PC for virus (trendmicro has em for free

 

If you dont have experience with the windows registry, you really shouldnt play with it. JMO

go and get a ppg called mIRC log on then chat with skyzmine if im on..
