This has probably been brought up before. Is there no way of allowing notifications of threads just once when someone replies? You know when 10 people reply you get 10 emails. Just curious.

Go up to your profile tab.

when there

go down to where you see:

Set topics you post to default the "subscribe to thread" option as:

set it for not checked

after you set it, be sure and pull the page down and hit update profile and you should be set.

If you want to subscribe to a thread you can check the little box right below where you hit Reply to Thread or on any thread you are not subscribed to and wish to, hit the icon on any post with the little paper folded with the red arrow and you will see what to do.

Look right above your post over to the right.

See the small sheet of paper with the upper right hand corner folded with the red arrow, that will take you to the area to subscribe or unsubscribe by checking the list.

Go to the top of the page and just below the advertising, and click on "today". Then, on the left side of the page will be all of the threads that you are subscribed to. Check the unwanted threads, then click on "unsubscribe" that is located below the list. Done.

I have checked the box on profile page and subscribed to several posts. Is there someplace I can check my replies to threads without checking my email?

while logged on you can click on the today page, and on that page you will see a list of threads on the left hand side of the page. the ones that are blue have been updated since your last log on. If you use two different computers, it will not be accurate
