The old forum had a bunch of icons to choose from. Where is the list now?

I liked my old gray tiger head that I had from day one. I downloaded nothing. Just chose it from the forum list.

Anyone know?

You will have to upload an author icon if you want one. Internet Brands did not transfer any of the author icons over from the old software.

 

After thinking about it I am going to give them a call on Monday and see if they have the old database still intact. If they haven't deleted it, maybe they could transfer the old icons over.

 

Great. Please tell them I need the Gray Cat Head.

I'm not receiving email notifications that someone has responded to a topic. (like this one)
Any idea if this still exists?

It's quite helpful to know when someone has replied to a topic that I have contributed to.

Go to the User Control panel and under edit options. Look under Messaging & Notification and choose the setting you like. the last setting on the bottom of the list will allow you to choose WYSIWYG editor. .

Go up to your user cp

on that page, on the left look for:

Settings & Options and then right below that hit on:

Edit Options

Then

Messaging & Notification

Default Thread Subscription Mode

You will have to pick from the list in how you want this.


Be sure and save changes down at the bottom of page when you are finished.

 

The old image server was formatted, so the old
images used for avatars are lost.

I gave a suggestion for Pre-defined Standard Avatars. We will see if these are added. If Internet Brands choices this option it looks like there is over 900 to pick from so hopefully MT you can find something in there.

 

Couple days ago I chose "instant email notification" and pressed save at the bottom.

Since then, you have replied twice and XFreebirdX once I have not received any email. I wonder what's wrong now.

 

I don't know I have been without high speed internet all day and when I called my provider there was an announced message saying the local area had a problem for almost 12 hours. I called tonight and got threw and the person on the other end said there has been no problems so I must have been asleep all day and dreamed the whole thing up

 

I looked at your profile and see you have:

One thing I can't check is if you are subscribed to this thread. You can go to your user cp or up above , thread tools and on the pull down see what it says there.


I will take that tiger off but I just wanted to see how you wore it next to your screen name
