Default 2017 fuel gauge issue

I know this sounds repetitive and maybe it is but I have read multiple questions on multiple forums and I cannot find an alternate answer. I recently purchased a 2017 Polaris sportsman 570 EPS for my wife. I am not sure if the fuel gauge light has been blinking since I purchased it or if it is a new glitch. Since discovering the issue I have read multiple forums, I have jiggled the float, I have checked all of my electrical connections and could not change the results of the blinking gauge. Last night I pulled the entire fuel pump assembly and replaced it with a new OEM pump assembly. Fired it up with great expectations and the fuel light is still blinking. Yes it has a full tank of gas, I have jiggled this float around also and again no change in the blinking light. What am I missing? Could it possibly be the speedometer/gauge assembly itself? Is there any other electrical relays or anything else that I can check or replace? Every answer that I have read just discusses the pump assembly, float etc.
thanks for the help everyone
