For Sale: Cheap UPS units
#1
Hi everyone,
For Sale Ads aren't permitted in the forums. But since I own the forums I'm hoping I can post something without upsetting too many people.
I have 26,000 Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS') available for sale in whatever quantities you want and for cheap! These are basically a box that provides a battery backup in case power fails while your PC is running. It will power 2 devices, typically your PC and monitor, for up to 6 minutes on the battery. This gives you time to shut your PC down cleanly and avoid losing your work or damaging the PC. In addition to battery backup, these UPS's filter your power protecting your PC from getting blown-out on lightening strikes or from surges in your power line. There are two RJ45 ports that will protect your pc from lightening strikes entering via your modem or Ethernet lines.

These units are around 6 months old and I guarantee they work and will warranty them (free replacement) for 30 days from time of purchase.
You can use these for Ham Radio equipment or anything that uses a 110 plug-in that you want to protect. They aren't just for PCs.
Here is a page with photos and info on them. Search under Backup UPS Pro model BP280s:

If you were buying these new they sell for $127.00 You can see the new prices at http://www.cdw.com/shop/search/results.asp?key=bp280s
I'm selling them for the following prices:
