This morning I added icons to the front of the main photo GALLERY page. There is now a "new" and an "updated" icon that will identify pages created (new) or updated within the past 5 days. I thought this would help you when you browse the gallery looking for new photos.

I also added a PREVIOUS and a NEXT button. When you're viewing a personal photo page, clicking either button will take you to the next or previous photo page. This feature makes it easier and quicker to surf all the photo pages at a sitting.

I also added a link that will allow you to private message the person who has the photo page while you're on their photo page.

I'm considering adding a "voting" feature where you can rank a photo page on a scale of 1 - 10. The questions I have are:

1) Should people be able to vote on a person's page more than once?
2) If they can only vote once, should they be able to vote a second time if the person changes/adds a photo?
3) Would you use the voting feature if I provided it?

 

1. No 1 vote only
2. Yes if the page changes
3. yes

the only question i had is if you changed your vote with the new pics would you just add that vote or would it change the original vote like if you voted 6 before and someelse voted 8 so you had 7 then you voted a 10 would you now have 9 or the average of 6, 8, 10

Its an enhancement to the private message system where you'll have a buddy list with a floating window that will tell you when your buddies are online and when you have a new private message.

I could set it up so that it would change the previous vote. That would probably be best. I'll give it some thought. The database for the forums is already well over a gig and tracking votes will add to it. But it sure sounds like it might be fun and pretty cool if we could do that! I'd like to maybe offer prizes for the best page every month. Let me give some thought to what we might be able to do.
