Default Was the 2015 Pioneer 500 transmission a DCT?

I'm reading mixed information on the Pioneer 500. I was pretty certain that the 2015 and 2016 models of the 500 Pioneer were manual shift only but was just trying to find information to whether or not these first year models had the DCT transmission without an automatic shifting option or if it was just a typical manual tranny like the older Foreman ES models were.

Here's a review from "UTV Driver" back in late 2014 stating that the 2015 was an automatic.

Anyone familiar with the Pioneer 500 that can set me straight? I've seen a couple used 2015 models that I'd be interested in going to look at but would like to know of any issues they may have had and if there was a totally different transmission change between the 2016 and 2017 or was it just some electronics and switches added to get the automatic shifting feature? I doubt I'd really run it in auto much, I hardly ever did on the Rubicons or Rincon I had except when needing a hand free to hold a drink, fishing rod, rifle or such but on a SXS I wouldn't see such a need.

I like the compact size of the 500, just wish it had a rear diff that could unlock to make it more user friendly on hard surface. A front locker would be nice too but I'd prefer a turf mode over a front locker and I know a front locker can be installed aftermarket.

Just going by a sometimes faulty memory here but I believe the Pioneer 500 had the automatic with manual shifting option by paddles on the steering wheel.

I believe just the first year was paddle shift only.

Keep in mind they were underpowered compared to most other 500 class machines. They were the lowest powered in all testing with 450- 500 rated utv's. There top speed was only around 35mph. If your going to be doing any trail riding on a smooth trail you will probably be going at wot most of the time...not good for an engine!
