is it normal for it to clunk when in a high gear 4th or 5th while your hit and realease the throtle . it sounds like theres play in the shaft. the machine it brand new only had it for a week.

 

No,at least i don't think so.I just got mine a week ago and it never makes a noise like that.

 

Got mine in January. I've never had that problem either.

Hayve, I've experienced a little of that too. I really only notice it after it's been warmed
up pretty well and I've got the throttle opened up all the way. No clue if it's normal, but
it hasn't effected the performance at all. You?

 

hayve - they all get that backfire when you change the pipe.

 

its still bone stock. yea, when you you first start riding it doesnt happen, but after about an hour when its warmed up you here it, i treid different gas and changed the oil etc but it still happens so i guess thats normal, thanx for the input ppl

what is your elevation. my wifes popped more when it was to rich. try letting out the air screw a 1/4 turn. just a thought can't hurt any.

 

i'll find out and see what it is and that. ive also noticed it gets stuck sumtimes between Neutrel and 1st and Neutral and reverse. n e 1 else had this before?

 

Haven't had that problem. Not unless it's frozen!
