I've never ridden a banshee and I was wondering what mods it takes for a 400ex to hang with a stock banshee in a drag race? Also how do modified 400ex's do raceing up big sand mt. against the stock banshee?

 

I have raced many of the stock banshee's and beat most of them up sand mountain. I can hang with a piped banshee. Remember that the sand is the banshee's territory and it would take a lot to beat them, but not many mods for them to then beat you.. I have also beat 400ex's with the 440 kit installed. I have read a couple of your posts and this is what I have done to my 400ex.

'99 400ex, .120 overbore with 11:1 piston (426),
cam by webcam (1 step below race cam), K&N air filter (lid removed), Big Gun exhaust system (I would suggest a DMC for more top end), CT rev limiter, 39mm FCR carb, CR twist throttle, pro design kill switch, DG alloy nerfs, hauler paddles (21x12x8 8 paddle),renthal 400ex bend bars.
