k & N Filter?
I just put a K&N filter and jet kit on my recon. From what I have noticed there is more snap and its peppier now compared to stock. It also lift the front tires easier. I haven't done a measured top end run yet but I dont expect any difference, though like said it does accelerate faster.

Redrecon, How does the performance upgrades effect your ability to turn the Bearclaw tires? I am just curious if the KN filter ,rejet and new pipe give the machine better torque through the 2nd and 3rd gears to facilitate better hill climbing?`I have been considering the bearclaws for my recon as well as the Maxxis alltraks. I just wonder which of the two tires is the lightest? Anyone have any ideas on this subject? There are a few hills here locally that I can get up about 1/2 way to 2/3 of the way up and then start to lose momentum. Currently my Recon is all stock. Thanks for any opinions guys. I like the recon a lot. Just got it about 2 weeks ago. Perfect for fun and the few weeks of hunting each year.

Arkierider--Without the K&N filter and jet kit I had to use 1st gear in deep mud but with it I can turn them in 2nd gear with no problems. There is deffinently a bit more snap to it in 2nd and 3rd gear. I really like my bearclaws they are good on the trails, good in the mud, wear great and they slide aroud way eaiser than the stock tires did. The bearclaws are probally heavier then the maxxis alltracks but they still weren't to much of a strain.
