IM LOOKIN FOR A PIPE THAT GIVES THE MOST HORSE POWER BUT NOT WITH THE LOUDNESS

SO ANY OF U 300EX OWNED CANU GIVE ME UR IMPUT

 

I bought the Megamax II with the K&N and Dynojet. I installed it all according to instructions. It gave a lot more power, but was a bit louder. Also, the endcap screws started to rip out! I guess the pressure from the exhaust pushed so hard on the end, the screws were ripping through the metal. A pretty shotty design, I'd say. I wouldn't get another one.

 

anybody ever used a supertapp ids2 with the header on a 300ex? let me know

 

I have an IDS2 in my 400EX and it's a lot better than the FMF Powercore IV I used to have. The power is tunable (depends on the mods you have in your bike),sounds good, and the price is good.

 

My neughbor has an IDS pipe on it is great sounding and tuneable. I dont know if the new endcap on the 2 makes it louder or not. Great pipe.

would one of them be good for mx racing? what do you gain top,mid,or bottom?

 

If i were you i would just get the works oversized header and dont bother getting the silencer. the header adds way more horsepower than the silencer and its only 123.99 good deal. If you look in dennis kirk under the white brothers e series you will see that it is there. i am going to do that and get the amp link for right now. best mods without getting the noise

 

Why not just get the Poweroll Header, it is probably about the same size and around 50 bucks cheaper. I like mine. And could you tell me how that amp link works out for ya, I might want one.
