Default HELP ELECTRICAL PROBLEM!

On the weekend my ex was burning out fuses so we took it apart and found that 2 of the accessory fan wires were touching, so we taped everything up and it worked fine.

Now whenever I turn my highbeams on everything goes dim and you can see the front light bulb elements glowing, this is with a 30amp fuse cuz it blew the 15 and a 20.

Has anyone every had this happen?

You have another short circuit somewhere. If the low beams are fine, it would have to be somewhere between the handlebar switch and the high beam bulb element. Honda usually uses a solid blue wire for high beam. Take the screws out of the handlebar switch and get it away from the handlebar and see if it works. Also, anyplace that wires have to move when you turn the handlebars is worth a look. Look for wires that are melted together through the insulation, or bared and touching a ground.

I found that right when the blue wire goes into the left headlight it was frayed.
