put it in neutral and when you go to shift hold up the shifter with your foot and give it some gas and then let your foot down and hold on.

300ex hhas a cluthc so you cant do that. Just practice in 2nd gear. I can ride them for ever. First push down on the handlebars to preload the shocks and then lift up and gas it while throwing your butt on the seat. It shoot come up relatively easily. You will get it in ten minuites.

wait a second. ARe you 13 years old 70 pounds or did you make a typo writing an extra 0 and a space. Because if you are 70 pounds the only way you are gonna be able to get it up to the balance point without overrevving to ride one is too find a bump or something.

Just put it in second push the throttle and pull up on the bars, or shift from first to second and pull up. If you want to cheat a little kneel on the seat or stand on the grab bar and hit the gas. Just takes a little practice to get good.

Even if you are only 70 pounds you should be able to clutch it up from a dead stop with no problem. Bring it straight up to the Balance point and ride it out...Practice and you'll be able to bang through the gears also. Wheelies are simple.
