Default Honda Dropping 350 "Rancher" & "Rancher 4x4"?

Looks like Honda changed the body style of the Rancher 350 ES models but not the foot shifter models. I guess Honda might be getting rid of the Rancher 2x4 & Rancher 4x4 because Honda doesn't show 04 models for them on their site. Is this the end of the foot shifter on the 350? I hope not.

Stupid Hurts! Because the majority may not or can not shift with their foot. It hurts those of us that can and want to. Perfect example of this is the KFX 700 "sport" quad auto. How many of you want a new Honda sports quad with auto?

If this is the way that Honda wants to go then I might be buying a new Yamaha 400 sport. Maybe. Just maybe.

Hello all: a newbie here, looks like a good place to be...anyways in reply, can't believe Honda would drop the 350, the local dealer here can't keep them in stock. He says there the most popular models and I couldn't resist myself

Hey Folks,

If you click on the quad central web page, it will try to install software from the gator corp. That is one of the worst spybot's. I recommend you not let it install.

quadsnmud, I don't think that Honda will drop all of the 350 models. I think they'll keep the ES models.
(Only because the ES models are the only 350's shown for 2004 and in the new body style.) Maybe Honda isn't finished updating their site. Go to Honda.com under utility quads. Scan down through the pics of the 2004 models.

Welcome to the forum.

My wife has a 2000 model rancher es which she loves. It has about 10,000 miles on it and has never had a problem. She is wanting to get a new model 2003 rancher because our dealer told us the only options on the 2004 rancher will manual shift or automatic shift. She doesn't want either. I would get her one tomorrow, but we are trying to decide if she should get an ATV with independent suspension. I wish they would put selectable 4X4 on the 2004, but they won't.

The 2004 does have selectable "traxloc" in the details
