Will a 88' R swingarm fit on a 86' if so, how????

Default Will a 88' R swingarm fit on a 86' if so, how????
Hi, just curious to know if a 88 swingarm will fit a 86 (250r). I know there are some differences and I have heard of a way of making it happen, I just dont remember how. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

I have HEARD that it will work, but you just will not be able to mount your motor to the swing arm.
